My unwanted opinion about the new Cyber Crime Law

Cyber Crime Law will become effective tomorrow, 3rd October, so good bye torrents and music downloads.
Not only the teenagers but also the adults are complaining about this law and as the society pressures me, I'm tempted to join their "revolution" against this law.
Tonight, 2nd October, most of my Facebook friends have changed their display picture into plain black ones, a.k.a "black out call" campaign. As I am much tempted to do the same thing, I couldn't. And it's not because I'm afraid of the outcome, but I didn't really know about everything in it.
People are telling that freedom of speech will be gone but also cybersex and child pornography. They may have only seen the "negative" side of it, e.g. torrents, music downloads, violent posts.
What the government, I believe, must do, is to educate the people about the whole thing about the law and not only the parts of it. I have read, "Ambagal nang kumonek ng laptop ko sa Wi-Fi,kasama ba to sa Cyber Crime Law???" Oh, the ignorance of the Filipino youth. This fine example can attest of what I have said before. EDUCATE the people, not using the technical terms, but using the lay man's term, so the people  might know the real pros and cons of this law.

Insert own opinion here: As same with the RH bill, I guess the Philippines is not yet ready for this Law.

Live tweets from concerts?

To be honest, I've never been to "real concerts" before. Well, I have been to concerts in our university which featured Silent Sanctuary, Hilera, Parokya ni Edgar, Soapdish(?), and others.

But I have never really been to those other concerts where you smell and feel the sweat of other people rubbing against you, but it doesn't mean that I WANT TO FEEL SOMEONE ELSE'S SWEAT ON ME. PLEASE, DON'T GET ME WRONG.

So tonight is a very dreadful night for me, Maroon 5 is back in Manila and I'm here sitting in front of my laptop complaining about it. I have actually promised myself, way back 2011 that I would watch Maroon 5 live when they return back in Manila. But I guess I'll have to wait till they are... Maroon 6 to watch them live *bad pun here*

It isn't that my parents will allow me to watch, but if given really a chance to watch them and see Adam Levine shirtless. Why not?

And the grades are out!

Before I hit the one-month period of not updating this blog, I will make an update about my progress in my sophomore year.

Truth to be told, I wasn't really sure about my grade/s this semester because I tend to slack off my butt and just pretend that I didn't have an assignment
But it was indeed a miracle when the portal showed me my midterm grades:
Yay!

I was really nervous about my grades in Church and Speech Comm because I know I didn't excel in those subjects and I want to thank all the angels and saints that answered my prayers!

I month to excel further! I can do better!

Midterms are finally done!

It has been 5 days since I last updated my blog, and the main reason is... MIDTERMS! Our midterms should have been from August 8-10, but since classes were suspended it was pushed through August 15-17.

Oh boy, MIDTERMS ARE HELL.

I was late for our Speech Comm test because of the LRT ride to Pedro Gil, I was silently cursing at the wind and wanting the train to move to Pedro Gil right away. It was actually a blessing that I saw Lorraine and we both went up to the 4th floor... BARE FOOTED.

Fortunately, there nobody who had finished the exam! I was actually happy because of that. My other tests for that day was kind of "okay"

Truth to be told, I'm not really confident with all of my answers in the tests. I wish that when I receive my grades, it'll be what I deserve.

We posted a video!

Last night, my younger cousin and I goofed around my DSLR and her iPad. We decided to film ourselves while using the Sweet Talk App of Juicy Fruit for iPad
